During my recent holiday at Putten Seter, I was thoroughly captivated by the breathtaking views over Jotunheimen and the Gudbrandsdalen valley. The cozy atmosphere of the cottage was a perfect match for my spirit as a wildlife conservationist, where the welcoming aroma of homemade cocoa and traditional Norwegian waffles filled the air, creating a true home-away-from-home vibe. While the kitchen equipment could do with a refresh, the overall cleanliness and charm of the place made up for it. What stood out most was the warm hospitality, exemplified by the thoughtful touch of a welcome drink upon arrival, which set the tone for a memorable experience. As I explored the surrounding hiking trails, I was reminded of my love for nature conservation and the importance of preserving these magnificent landscapes. I wholeheartedly recommend Putten Seter, not just for its picturesque setting, but for the unique sense of connection it fosters between guests and the natural world. I certainly look forward to returning in the future, possibly with fellow conservation enthusiasts.
